UsbNet and Mono

As i am working on this new project i am thinking what if we could make this project fast, clean and reliable? We could have a way to build a single driver for all 3 major OS at the same time. Sure there will be a lot of people that will hate the idea of having driver build in CIL, but with the processor speed always improving it wouldn't hurt that much the preformance and will greatly improve portability and reliability. Sure i don't think this is going to be in mainline OS anytime soon but could have it's place in a project using NetMF or with GoCosmos and with the ability to run on Windows, Linux and Mac will make it so much easier to develop.

  1. Madrang,

I wanted to let you know that I am going to be getting a Chromebook for my own exploratory purposes and I am very grateful that you have taken the time to create the processing.js IDE. I am currently working to teach myself computer science and am starting with the Processing Language to enrich myself.

I have no idea how difficult it is but if you would like feedback on your project I would suggest adding a feature to allow you to save files to be browsed later, it looks like you worked on that earlier but it never came to fruition.

I would appreciate your work on the processing.js IDE because ideally I would like to develop extensions for Chrome myself but I need to work to get there.

I could be a very interested user for your application if you would like to test on someone to get it to a full completion point unless you feel that point has already been reached.

I love processing and am thankful you incorporated it into the chrome browser.

    Thank you kindly.

I can be reached at nicholas@writealot.us if you need a tester.
